Ted Talks

We were blessed last week to have the legendary Ted Comet, perhaps the longest-serving Jewish communal professional in North America today, come chat with us.
Ted celebrated his 70th year (!) of Jewish communal service and, coincidentally, his 92nd birthday with our professional team, and gave a moving, stirring, and memorable presentation on resilience and its meaning.
Since the end of the Second World War, Ted has been at the forefront of Jewish communal affairs — serving in France to rehabilitate war orphans, creating the Fifth Avenue Israel Parade, organizing the first solidarity demonstration for Refuseniks and the first Jewish Federation mission to the Soviet Union… Ted has been there and done that.

If you need a good dose of inspiration and communal meaning, do yourself a favor and take a few minutes out of your day to watch this video. You’ll see why our past achievements are so incredible, and what the values and work ethic of an incredible man can mean.

We were incredibly fortunate to have Ted come talk with us. I hope you enjoy this video of his presentation.
