Our Impact
Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest NJ is the largest Jewish philanthropy in New Jersey, encompassing Essex, Morris, Sussex, Union, and parts of Somerset County. All of Federation’s work is made possible by the generous contributions of Greater MetroWest community members to our UJA Annual Campaign and through the planned giving and endowment functions of our Jewish Community Foundation.
Working with our 23 local and 4 overseas partner agencies, what we accomplish together is far greater than what one organization or person can achieve alone. We are a safety net, providing counseling for families in crisis, support services for seniors and for people with disabilities and their families, and career counseling and job placement assistance for the unemployed. We invest in the future of our Jewish community by helping to make Jewish education and Jewish camping affordable for all families, teaching teens and college students how to stand up for Israel, and connecting people socially and culturally to their heritage in countless ways. And we respond to emergencies near and far, from Haiti to the Jersey shore.
