Shtick Together
Raising Jewish children? Interested in bringing more Judaism into your home?
Shtick Together creates and nurtures small groups of families with similar age children to celebrate Shabbat together.
Shtick Together groups are comprised of three to five families in nearby neighborhoods who will gather eight times between October and June for Shabbat experiences in one another’s homes. A Lead Family is selected to coordinate and plan these gatherings. Federation provides Lead Families with ongoing coaching and training to create meaningful Shabbat experiences with age-appropriate activities. Or simply be a Participating Family! Shtick Together groups are reimbursed for a portion of their expenses.

We’ve operated this exciting program for two years through a grant from the Harold Grinspoon Foundation (the folks who bring us PJ Library). This year, we’re thrilled to expand this program in the community.
