Super Sunday senior couple continues tradition of dialing for dollars

A husband-and-wife duo demonstrates each year at Super Sunday the power of volunteering at any age. West Orange residents Harriet and Harry Jacobs, who have been married 60 years and have been long active with the JCC MetroWest’s Margulies Senior Center in West Orange, are regular fixtures at the annual phonathon, which raises funds for the Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest NJ’s United Jewish Appeal Campaign. read more

Inclusion in Jewish learning

For adults with developmental disabilities, Jewish learning opportunities are limited. For Rob, now almost 40 years old, having a connection to a Judaic studies program for nearly 35 years and experiencing a range of teaching professionals and approaches has served to strengthen his sense of belonging with respect to his faith and ability to practice.
