Federation Condemns Anti-Semitic Attacks at Brussels Museum

May 27, 2014

Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest NJ strongly condemns the anti-Semitic attacks at the Brussels Museum that killed three people and injured another. We are saddened by the loss of innocent lives, and send out heartfelt sympathy to the families of the victims. We stand behind the citizens of Belgium and others from around the world who condemn these senseless acts of violence. In this moment when the Pope just visited Israel and Israel hopes for peace with its neighbors, we ask the international community to ensure that the growing hate crimes throughout Europe, including this weekend in Paris and recently in Ukraine, are widely condemned and that the perpetrators of these violent acts are speedily brought to justice.
