PJ Library Grandparents Connection

The PJ Library Grandparents Connection will offer grandparents an opportunity to learn, network, and share ideas while exploring their critical role as models of Jewish culture and traditions in their family and community. At the same time, the group will raise funds to ensure that the PJ Library program continues to thrive in Greater MetroWest NJ.

This new group was conceived by two proud Greater MetroWest grandparents, Ilene Wolff and Beena Levy. Recognizing the critical role that grandparents play in the lives of their grandchildren, Ilene and Beena are starting this group to bring together grandparents who are passionate about keeping their children and grandchildren connected to Jewish life. They believe, as does Federation, that PJ Library is one of the most influential and important programs in the community.

The group’s future programs, events, and initiatives will be explored at the PJ Library Grandparents Connection Opening Event. All grandparents in Greater MetroWest are invited to attend, whether their grandchildren live near or far.

You will have an opportunity to make a gift to support PJ Library.

What is PJ Library?

PJ Library® (PJ for pajamas), a program of Jewish Federation of Greater Metrowest NJ in partnership with the Harold Grinspoon Foundation, provides free, high-quality Jewish books and music each month to Greater MetroWest children ages 6 months through 6 years old. Every month, families enrolled in PJ Library receive an age-appropriate, beautifully illustrated book or music CD.

Over the past ten years, Greater MetroWest PJ Library has reached more than 6,000 families and almost 10,000 children. In addition, the program helps families to connect and form Jewish bonds through local fun, educational, musical and social Jewish experiences all year round!
