Jewish Federation of Greater Metrowest NJ Mission to Poland & Israel

Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow

May 5-15, 2016

Gain a greater understanding of the communal journey of the Jewish people by traveling to Poland and Israel with Jewish Federation of Greater Metrowest NJ.

Chairs: Ellen Goldner and Rabbi Greg Litcofsky

This Mission includes visits to sites of Jewish heritage and memory, it offers unique encounters with 1,000 years of Polish Jewish history, and it includes opportunities to celebrate the revival of Jewish life in Poland today. We will infuse your journey with unique insights and perspectives into Poland’s profound Jewish heritage.

We will then travel to Israel, our homeland. There we will commemorate the fallen soldiers of Israel and victims of terrorism on Yom Hazikaron (Remembrance Day), celebrate Yom Ha’atzmaut (Israel Independence Day), and meet with Israelis in MetroWest’s Partnership2Gether communities.
