The New Jersey COVID-19 Information Hub provides New Jerseyans with the most up-to-date information about COVID-19 and the State's response, including information about services such as food assistance and small business assistance.
NJHelps is a good first place to look for questions about SNAP (extra help to pay for food), cash assistance and Medicaid.
NJOneApp: A program of NJ Department of Human Services. Learn if you or family members is eligible for health and social services and apply for services.
NJ FamilyCare: NJ's publicly funded health insurance program including CHIP, Medicaid and Medicaid expansion. To apply, click here.
NJ Mental Health Cares: NJ's behavioral health information and referral service. New Jerseyans can call 1-866-202-HELP (4357) for free, confidential support. NJ Mental Health Cares will be answered from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. seven days a week by live trained specialists. There are also psychiatric emergency screening sites in each county.
County Offices on Aging: Coordinated systems of supports for older adults. If community members are having trouble accessing services through the state programs, this is another good place to seek assistance.
