2016 Seymour Epstein Rising Leadership Mission

Experience It - Learn It - Share It

January 23-31, 2016

Help us to energize, inspire, and educate our leaders to secure the future!

The Epstein Mission will inspire and educate current Jewish community rising leaders to cultivate an enhanced mindset from which our Jewish community will grow and benefit for years to come.

The Epstein Mission will guide a passionate volunteer into a more skilled leader and steward of others for your organization on behalf of the Jewish community through Israel education, community connections and solicitation training.

Selected participants, Epstein Fellows

will be joining a select (small)  group of like-minded individuals to engage in building the facets of the  vibrant Jewish community of Greater MetroWest through engagement, training and an Israel experience. There will be interactive learning sessions with seasoned community fundraisers who will guide them to:

  • effectively communicate and present their ideas clearly and with impact
  • understand the impact that individuals and groups can have in helping our community
  • improve their listening skills
  • understand the importance of body language
  • step out of their comfort zone and increase their confidence
  • build a positive outlook
  • build connections amongst the community

All of the above learning will be interspersed with visits to Federation partnerships and meetings with Federation affiliates in Israel (JDC and JAFI) which will tie into their learning about the Jewish community and Israel: the people, the history and the land.
