The Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest NJ announces a Matching Gift Challenge beginning Monday, March 14 and running through Monday, May 16.
We are thankful for the support of a few private generous donors who launched a $500,000 Matching Gift Program for new and increased gifts. These gifts will help us meet our $1 million goal, enabling Federation to support our community needs in the year ahead.
Federation supports 27 service, educational, and cultural agencies in Greater MetroWest and 7 partner communities in Israel, and provides support to national and international organizations committed to the safety and security of all Jews.
Needs keep growing, and our partner agencies desperately need your help to continue to meet these needs.
For example:
- 60 Jewish seniors in our community remain on a wait list for home health aides
- 65 individuals and families in the Jewish community are on a waiting list for counseling
- 25 individuals are on a wait list for kosher food pantry services
- JCC day camp scholarships has grown by 20 percent over last summer
- Demand for special-needs programming in our community far outstrips the resources available
