Members of our community who were in Israel this week attended the funeral of Sgt. Shlomo Rindenow, the 20-year-old lone soldier from Passaic, New Jersey, who was tragically killed while manning his post in the Golan Heights. Rebecca Gold, president of our GMW Women’s Philanthropy (WP), along with WP director Sarabeth Wizen and Associate Executive Vice President Amir Shacham were among the thousands who came out to pay their last respects and show their support for Shlomo’s family. He was a “lone” soldier who was clearly not alone. May his memory be a blessing. »more
