BLOG: Birthright – Over half a million young Jews have traveled to Israel through Birthright, a “free” 10-day trip to explore the country and their identity. Concerns over rising assimilation, lower rates of Jewish affiliation, and a loosening connection to Israel are being counterbalanced by this powerful program that we support. YOUR IMPACT

NJ Legislature Acts Overwhelmingly Against BDS – Last week, the New Jersey state legislature overwhelmingly passed a law prohibiting the state from investing pension funds in any companies that support Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) measures against Israel. This is a tremendous triumph for our statewide Jewish community, and for the NJ State Association of Jewish Federations which has lobbied tirelessly for the measure. »more
