AHCA Makes Jewish Social Service Agencies Feel Sick – If the Senate’s proposed health care bill passes, we will likely see major reductions in Medicaid benefits, which could have “significant” impact on the basic services provided to members of our community by Federation partner agencies. more

CORRECTION: JFS MetroWest Awarded “Breaking Barriers” Matching Grant – The Genesis Prize Foundation and Jewish Funders Network announced the recipients of funding under the special matching grants program created in honor of 2016 Genesis Prize Laureate Itzhak Perlman for programs that promote inclusion of those with disabilities in Jewish life. more

Program for Educators to Discover Magic of Camp – The JKid Educator Interchange will bring Jewish educators on a field trip to Jewish sleepaway camp to discover the magic children experience there… and to learn how to inspire students on their Jewish journeys. more

Leslie Dannin Rosenthal to Chair JFNA’s Network Advisory Committee – As our outgoing president passes the torch in Greater MetroWest to incoming president Scott Krieger, she will assume this key national leadership position overseeing the Network of Independent Communities which serves 300 Jewish communities across the country. more
