City of Newark Holocaust Remembrance Day — All are welcome to join Mayor Rass Baraka, the Newark Municipal Council Committee, and the Newark Holocaust Remembrance Committee at the Newark Museum for this annual ceremony. GMW survivor Ruth Ravina will be the keynote speaker. Admission is free and transportation will be provided. »more

Poignant Poland and Israel Mission Includes Tree Planting in Kibbutz Erez —Participants commemorated the Holocaust and experiencing the re-birth of Jewish communal life in Poland and continued on to Israel where they  commemorated the fallen soldiers and then celebrated the State of Israel on her Independence Day by planting trees. »more
