It’s finally April! Along with – hopefully – the warm weather soon, this month brings a bunch of amazing Federation programs and events to our community. We have Yom HaShoah and Israel@70 events, J-SERVE day of service learning for teens with special guest student speakers from Parkland, Women’s Awareness Day, the Tour de Summer Camps NJ bike ride and community event, and so much more! We hope to see you all at one, a few, or all these events!

Special BOGO Passover Offer for Tour de Summer Camps – Register by April 10 for this bike ride and Family Fun Day event in Morristown on April 29, and a friend can ride for free! The regular registration fee is $36 per rider. Proceeds make it possible for more children across Greater MetroWest NJ to have the life-changing experience of attending Jewish summer camp. more
Join Us at One or More Israel@70 Community Celebrations! – To mark the milestone of Israel’s 70th birthday, Federation is partnering with synagogues and agencies around Greater MetroWest to offer a variety of programs, all free and open to the public, starting on April 15 and running through the month! Jewish Teen Writing Contest – Fresh Ink for Teens, an online magazine for Jewish teens, invites high school students to compete in the Norman E. Alexander Award for Excellence in Jewish Student Writing by submitting a 500-word essay on Jewish Contributions to American Music. The winner will receive $500 and a medal, and have their essay published in the Jewish Week and on Fresh Ink for Teens. more
