Community Relations Committee of Greater MetroWest NJ (CRC)

The Community Relations Committee (CRC) is the advocacy and public affairs arm of Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest NJ. Our mission is to mobilize the Jewish community on national, state, and local issues to ensure that our community’s interests are addressed. By forging relationships with our elected representatives, educating and engaging our community, and building coalitions with other political and faith-based groups, we make sure that our voice is heard on issues which are central to our values as Jews and Americans.

The Four Pillars of the CRC

  • LEGISLATIVE AFFAIRS AND GOVERNMENT RELATIONS

The CRC advocates, both independently and through the State Association, for domestic agenda items, and internationally for Israel.

  • ISRAEL AND INTERNATIONAL AFFAIRS

The CRC educates and engages high school and college students, as well the wider community, to maintain a strong connection to the land of Israel.

  • INTERGROUP RELATIONS

The CRC builds and maintains strong relationships with members of the interfaith community, and creates shared events and important dialogues that lead to mutual understanding.

  • SOCIAL JUSTICE

The CRC aids all citizens within Greater Metrowest by cultivating deep relationships between the Jewish and labor communities, and working together on issues of mutual concern.
