The final concert

It’s our final UJA Benefit Concert. And it’s going to be beautiful.

After 18 amazing years, the UJA Benefit Concert will be held at NJPAC on Sunday, May 17. It’ll be a festive afternoon of music, community celebration, and philanthropic spirit to benefit the life-sustaining work of our Federation.

The first concert had violinist Isaac Stern performing – this one will have his son Michael as conductor. We’ll have Prokofiev’s Overture on Hebrew Themes, Brahms’ finale from his Second Symphony, and much more. Plus, I hope you’ll join us for a community dessert reception (at 1 p.m.) preceding the (2 p.m.) concert.

This Chai (18th) concert features a special tribute honoring UJA Benefit Concert Foundation Benefactors Joan L.* and Allen I.* Bildner, Judy and Stewart Colton, Toby and Leon G. Cooperman, Beth and William S.* Furman, Anita and Franklin Hannoch, Drs. Mia* and Victor Parsonnet, Lore* and Eric F.* Ross, Judy and Josh S. Weston, Beth and Leonard Wilf, and Barbara and Edward Zinbarg.

For more information, contact Belle Schwartz or call the concert hotline at (973) 929-2969.
