Celebrate Our Community

In truth, we don’t get enough chances to celebrate what we’ve achieved.
There are some amazing things in this community. We have inspiring synagogues, rabbis, schools, organizations, and agencies. If you live here and you love being Jewish, there’s so much available to you.
Yes, there’s a lot more that we can and should do. But there’s a lot that we are doing. Together.

So every now and then it’s worth celebrating what we’re doing. On Tuesday, June 16 at 7 p.m. we’re going to do exactly that. Normally you might not rush to a Jewish Federation Annual Meeting. But this one will be different: it’ll be memorable. And it’ll be inspiring.

For a start, we’re going to celebrate my colleague Neimah Tractenberg, Missions Director, who’s retiring after 27 years of service to the Jewish community.
We’re going to see examples of the incredible impact of our Federation in caring, building, and saving lives and communities at home, in Israel, and around the world. There will be stories and people that will move you.
And we’re going to hear one of the most engaging speakers you’ll get to meet this year – Alina Spaulding. Her story is our story. And her storytelling is moving, passionate, and exciting. It will leave you grateful and inspired.

You can see more details and RSVP here.
I hope you can make it.
