The Jewish Educational Center is a modern Torah college preparatory yeshiva for students in grades pre-K to 12. 100% of our students go on to college, and we count among our alumni two former U.S. Ambassadors, two Rhodes Scholars and a McArthur Genius Award winner.

The Lower School (girls and boys elementary) prides itself on its warm and nurturing environment. Our pediacentric approach to education is predicated on developing children’s self-esteem as the turn-key for success in learning. From our Early Childhood morot to the teachers in our elementary grades, we treat our students with love and respect their individuality. As the elementary division of the Jewish Educational Center, the Lower School promotes excellence in education filtered through the prism of a modern Torah worldview. Our comprehensive dual curriculum in limudei kodesh and general studies is supported by extensive remedial and supplementary enrichment programs to suit a variety of learning styles. We are proud to show our support for Medinat Yisrael through numerous activities throughout the year. Extra-curricular opportunities for our students are provided through PTA clubs, class trips, interactive assemblies, choir and student plays and performances.

The JEC High School (Rav Teitz Mesivta Academy) (boys grades 6-12), is the boys' high-school division of the Jewish Educational Center in Elizabeth, New Jersey. Our modern Torah approach is grounded by an unwavering commitment to Torat, Medinat and Am Yisrael. We embrace our mission of working with our young men as they develop into well-rounded Jews, truly the lights of our community, and effective citizens of the world. At The JEC High School, we recognize the individuality of each boy, capitalize on the unique set of strengths and talents each possesses, and we provide support when and where it is needed. Our warm and positive environment nurtures growth — academically, spiritually, socially and emotionally.

At Bruriah High School (girls 6-12), our paramount aim is to provide an education based on Torah principles and academic excellence as well as to inculcate Torah ethics and mores in our students. Our efforts are devoted to consistent religious growth and personal character development. We prepare students to meet both the spiritual and educational challenges of the world around us. Bruriah is committed to providing a high caliber limudei kodesh curriculum as well as a full college preparatory general studies course of study to enable each student to face the challenges of the 21st century.
