Saturday, December 1 at 7:45pm
Join this compelling legal evening at B'nai Shalom, as noted NJ Judge Philip Carchman will discuss the important influence that Louis D. Brandeis had on the way social science information was first introduced as part of successful legal arguments before the Supreme Court. Rabbi Tobin will add commentary on the Jewish values implicit in Brandeis' career and approach to law and we will finish the evening with a dessert reception.
Judge Carchman is a Senior Judge, NJ Superior Court, Appellate Division. He will discuss Louis Brandeis as a person, an early leader of Zionism, as "the people's lawyer" and as an extraordinary Justice.
