Temple B'nai Abraham Sisterhood -The Women's Connection Annual Spring Gala fundraiser will be held at Cedar Hill Country Club, 100 Walnut Street, Livingston, on Thursday, May 9, 7:00 PM. This year’s event features entertainment by @CrazyJewishMom, Social media sensations author Kate Siegel and her mom Kim Friedman. Kate Siegel runs the @CrazyJewishMom Instagram account where she posts humorous conversations she has with her mom Kim. Kate has authored a book, Mother, Can You Not? Based on the wildly popular Instagram account @CrazyJewishMom, Kate Siegel's essay collection about life with the woman who redefined the term "helicopter mom." This program will evoke lots of memories and laughs … at an evening filled with good company and conversation.
Spearheading the Gala are Chairs Michelle Barishaw and Amy Esralew with Sisterhood Co-Presidents Donna Ellenbogen and Deborah Jacob. Proceeds from this event went to the Sisterhood L'Dor, V'Dor Education Fund, which benefitted community and temple events including the Sisterhood Speaker Series, educational scholarships, Sisterhood/Israel collaborations and dynamic programming.
