MEASURING WHAT MATTERS: Using evaluation to help your synagogue move forward strategically

What does success look like for your synagogue? Can you measure it? Do your synagogue’s programs, activities, and behaviors align with your goals? This hands on session will explain why evaluation is critical to any well-run organization and will provide the tools you need to define and evaluate success in your synagogue.

We recommend that synagogue leaders attend in teams of two or three.

Dinner will be served • Kosher dietary laws observed

SPEAKER:
Lauren A. Silverstein, PhD, Director of Impact Assessment & Learning, Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest NJ

Lauren works with Federation departments and agencies to build strategy, implement evaluation practices, and use data to inform action. In 2017, she developed Impact University, a series of workshops for all Federation agency professionals to teach evaluation concepts and skills. She is excited to introduce these tools to synagogue leaders.
