About Golda Och Academy
Golda Och Academy is a vibrant learning community that focuses on the individual intellectual, social, and spiritual needs of each child. We cultivate in students a lifelong love of learning within the context of Jewish knowledge and heritage. Our school is located on two campuses — one for the Lower School and one for the Upper School — located about two miles apart in West Orange, serving approximately 500 students from more than 60 communities across New Jersey.

Position
Golda Och Academy is accepting applications for a part-time high school language arts teacher to teach a range of courses in high school beginning in the Fall of 2021.

Responsibilities
The successful candidate will have demonstrated success in teaching high school, the ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues, and a desire to be part of an independent school community. Candidates should have experience integrating technology in the classroom and the ability to differentiate instruction to effectively work with a range of learners. Ideal candidates will hold an M.A. and/or certification. Experience teaching AP/honors coursework is preferred.

Qualifications
- At least 3 years of relevant teaching experience preferred
- AP Literature experience preferred
- M.A. and/or certification preferred
- Citizenship, residency, or work VISA in the United States required
