Giving Societies

The Young Leaders Giving Societies represent the values and leadership we aspire to emulate. Each group is an annual giving club, and looks to recognize UJA campaign donors in the young leadership community who make significant commitments to the Jewish community. 

Chai Society

Chai, meaning life, is represented by the number 18. As we learn early in life, Jewish tradition has us utilize this number in our giving patterns, both for Bar/Bat Mitzvah gifts and charity. Members of the Chai Society recognize the lifetime value of giving, and are looking to enter into the Federation leadership community. Donate $118 today to join the Chai Society and enjoy our special events.

Ben-Gurion Society

Former Prime Minister David Ben-Gurion was a man who walked the talk. Ben-Gurion Society members are also local community members who place a high value in ensuring the ongoing safety of the global and local Jewish community and take it upon themselves to live by those values. Ben-Gurion Society members are part of an international giving community through JFNA, and are granted exclusive access to some major donor activities in the local community.
