Rachel Cohen GerrolRachel Cohen Gerrol

Join us to hear about Rachel’s inspirational Jewish journey. Through her interfaith background and life-changing Birthright Israel experience, Rachel found her calling: empowering millennials to keep Jewish communities vibrant and strong. She has dedicated her life to creating innovative programs that engage young Jews in new ways, such as the Shabbat Hoppin’ program in Washington, D.C. She helped organize the White House Conference on Next Gen Philanthropy and spent eight years as Special Assistant to Ambassador Nancy Rubin, U.S. Representative to the U.N. Human Rights Commission. Rachel’s work has been featured in The New York Times, Forbes, Vanity Fair, and The Huffington Post.

Come learn why Rachel was called “Jewish Girl of the Year” and named one of the “99 Most Influential Foreign Policy Leaders under 33.”

The vision for Women’s Philanthropy of Greater MetroWest NJ is to engage Jewish women through dynamic programs that benefit their lives and others in the local community, in Israel, and overseas. Guided by the principles of tzedakah (righteousness), Klal Yisrael (Jewish Peoplehood), and tikkun olam (repairing the world), Women’s Philanthropy’s support of the UJA Annual Campaign enables our vision to become a reality.
