2017 JKid Educator Interchange Workshops

Thursday, January 11, 7-9 p.m.
Alex Aidekman Family Jewish Community Campus
901 Route 10, Whippany

How does a camp, a day school, a synagogue or a JCC design an exciting and inspiring Yom Ha’atzmaut program? Join us at one of these JKid Educator Interchange events and discover how your educational colleagues create meaningful learning experiences around the “Yoms” – Yom HaZikaron, Yom Ha’atzmaut, Yom HaShoah, and Yom Yerushalayim.

Join the conversation, share your experience, and leave with tried-and-true ideas on how you can infuse understanding of the springtime Yoms into your classroom. The conversations will be led by dynamic Greater MetroWest educators, including:

  • Rabbi Sharon Litwin, Congregation B’nai Israel, Millburn
  • Rabbi Ethan Linden, Camp Ramah of the Berkshires
  • Rabbi Isaac Saposnik, Camp Havaya
  • Rebecca Feldman, Joseph Kushner Hebrew Academy
  • Amit Stern, Federation’s Community Shaliach

Dinner will be served.

The JKid Educator Interchange is a network of Jewish educators in Greater MetroWest committed empowering children ages 6 to 12 and their families along their Jewish journeys. All educators from across Greater MetroWest educational organizations – including synagogues, congregational schools, day schools, JCCs and camps – are welcome.

Also, mark your calendar for June 4, 7 - 9 p.m. when the JKid Educator Interchange Workshop meets to discuss and plan for Sukkot.
