About this Synagogue:
Temple Shalom is the destination for Reform, progressive Jews in Northwest NJ. We are here to meet the spiritual, social, educational, and community needs of our membership which is wonderfully diverse with singles young and old, couples, and families all committed to Judaism whether they are Jewish or Interfaith, questioning or actively involved in conversion. All are welcome as is demonstrated by our racial, sexual, and economic diversity. Together, we celebrate Reform Judaism in words and music, through action and interaction, with an emphasis on Jewish traditions. We embrace our Jewish identity through Nefashot, our passion to touch the hearts and souls of everyone around us. We are a supportive, caring extended family. Our lives are enriched by Jewish education for youth and adults, spiritual, personal and communal growth, and Tikkun Olam, tangible actions that make the world a better place.
