NextDor Associate

The NextDor Associate will join the NextDor team to create awesome events, foster relationships, develop leaders and assist in growing the NextDor campaign for the Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Alongside a team of professionals and lay leaders, implement an outreach and engagement strategy for the NextDor community
  • Brainstorm, plan and execute top-notch programming and collaboration with campaign for the NextDor population
  • Alongside a team of professionals and lay leaders, develop and implement a strategy for the NextDor campaign
  • Working with Director of NextDor, plan and execute fundraising models that maximize the number of people contributing to the Federation's annual campaign
  • Responsible for campaign portfolio of at least 50 donors who make gifts up to $1,000
  • Serve as liaison to Honeymoon Israel program launching in 2019
  • Assist in planning and recruiting for a mission to help develop relationship between NextDor and our Overseas partners
  • Understand and meet the needs of lay leaders, the young adult community and the Greater MetroWest community
  • Work collaboratively with other departments of the Federation (Global Connections, Campaign, Planning, etc. ) as well as other Federation agencies and programs (PJ Library, synagogues, etc.)

REQUIREMENT SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred. Areas of discipline: Jewish communal professional, public policy, and management
  • Charismatic individual that will draw and engage young adults
  • Futuristic thinker and executor who will continuously create the next level of achievement
  • Driven and determined leader who creates momentum and positive energy
  • Mirror the Federation’s values of menslichkeit, collaboration, creativity and accountability
  • Prior successes working in the young adult space is a plus
  • Fundraising/sales experience a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and social media
  • Must possess strong written and oral communications skills
  • Familiarity with and understanding of the Greater MetroWest community and/or National Jewish community is a plus
  • Work some evenings and weekends
