On Friday, October 18 , following Shabbat Services, at approx. 7:30 PM , the Temple B’nai Abraham Social Action Committee (SAC) and Sisterhood─The Women’s Connection will co-sponsor a Shabbat Dinner in the Sukkah and Program at the Temple, Livingston. The guest speaker will be Jennifer Duckworth, a Senior Environmental Engineer; a Kean University professor; and the Co-Chair of the Essex County Environmental Commission. She previously served as the Chair of the Millburn Township Environmental Commission, on Boards of Trustees for the Cora Hartshorn Arboretum and GreenFaith, on the Millburn Township BoE Strategic Planning Committee, and was a founding member of the Rahway River Watershed Stormwater Advisory Board. The title of her presentation is "Easy Ways to Improve Your Environmental Health."
Join your friends for a delicious dinner in the festively decorated Sukkah (weather permitting), good conversation and a stimulating presentation indoors in the Silberman Conservatory! The cost per person is $22 if registered by October 16, thereafter the cost is $25 per person. All are welcome to attend. To register go to https://tbanj.org/dinner-speak. or call 973-994-2290
