Golda Och Academy, located in West Orange, New Jersey, is seeking a full-time Middle School Hebrew teacher for the Upper School for the 2021-2022 school year.
Candidates should have experience and demonstrate a passion for middle school education. Qualified candidates will be masterful educators, adept at teaching Hebrew as a 2nd language, who exhibit a deep knowledge of Hebrew language and culture, have facility in differentiating instruction, and possess strong oral and written communication skills.
Successful Candidates Will Possess:
A native Hebrew speaker is required
A minimum of 3-4 years of experience in teaching Hebrew language
Experience in recognized standards of language instruction
Ability and willingness to work with students in various group settings, using multiple teaching methods
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree, teaching credential from an accredited institution (North America or Israel) is preferred
Good classroom management skills
Commitment to meaningful collaboration with colleagues
Excellent communication skills and commitment to keeping parents informed and engaged
Interest in professional growth and commitment to continuous learning
